Who we are

Sentinel Recovery is an investigative platform that helps victims of cryptocurrency and online fraud document their cases and pursue legitimate recovery options. This policy explains what information we collect when you use this website, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It is maintained by Sentinel Recovery and applies to this website and the case submission form.

Postal address: 450 7th Ave, New York, NY 10123, United States. Phone: +1 (909) 296-1139.

Information we collect

We only collect information you choose to give us. That includes:

  • Contact details — first name, surname, email address and phone number.
  • Case details — the amount lost, the type of scam, whether a bank was involved, the payment methods used, the app, wallet, exchange or bank the money was sent from, your description of what happened, and the date of the first payment.
  • Communications — messages you send us by phone, email or WhatsApp about your case.

We do not ask for and you should never send us private keys, seed phrases, passwords, or full card numbers. No member of our team will ever request them.

How we use your information

  • To review your submission and assess whether we can assist.
  • To contact you about your case and request further evidence.
  • To carry out blockchain analysis and investigative work related to your case.
  • To cooperate with law enforcement, exchanges or regulators where doing so supports your case or is required by law.
  • To keep records and meet our legal and accounting obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

WhatsApp submissions

When you submit a case, your details are saved to our secure database and you are given the option to send the same summary to our team over WhatsApp. If you use that option, the message is delivered through WhatsApp and is also subject to WhatsApp's own privacy terms.

How we share information

We share your information only in these circumstances:

  • Service providers — hosting, database and messaging providers who process data on our behalf under confidentiality obligations.
  • Investigative partners — exchanges, banks, law enforcement or legal counsel, where relevant to progressing your case.
  • Legal requirements — where we are required to disclose information by law, subpoena or court order.

How we protect your information

Case submissions are stored in an access-controlled database. Submissions cannot be read from the public website — access is limited to authorised administrators, and all data is transmitted over encrypted connections. While no online service can promise absolute security, we apply reasonable technical and organisational safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information involved.

How long we keep it

We keep case information for as long as needed to investigate and support your case, and afterwards only as long as required for legal, regulatory or record-keeping purposes. You may ask us to delete your data at any point, subject to those obligations.

Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal information, to receive a copy of it, and to object to certain processing. To make a request, contact us using the details below. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

Cookies and analytics

This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Our hosting provider may record standard technical information such as IP address and browser type for security and reliability purposes.

Children

This website is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Fees and fraud warning

We charge 15% of the total amount recovered, payable only once you have received your money. We never ask for upfront payment. Anyone contacting you in our name and requesting an advance fee is impersonating us — please report it to us immediately.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will appear on this page with a revised "last updated" date.
